Eid
Clouds pinned to a clothesline. A pillow flying two boys over the citadel. An Eid film made of soft things — in a city that exists mostly in memory now.

THE CONSTRAINT
An Eid film set in a version of old Aleppo that cameras cannot reach anymore. Generation wasn't a shortcut — it was the only door in.
THE VERSION THAT DIED
A realistic treatment of the city. It felt like news footage wearing a holiday. The film only worked when it stopped being accurate and started being remembered — clouds on clotheslines, a pillow that flies.
WHAT SURVIVED
The soap that glows from inside, the lantern procession, two boys over the citadel. Magic realism, graded warm, cut to a lullaby's pace.
The cutting room.
Frames that made the cut — and the record of the ones that didn’t.
